Tour Outline

After your complimentary hotel pick up, you will be brought to Broome Aviation’s very own departure lounge located at the Broome International Airport. Here you will be greeted by your pilot for the day and enjoy your pre-flight breakfast and tea or coffee in air-conditioned comfort. Your pilot will outline the days adventure and give a brief safety demonstration before commencing your flight.

  • Departing Broome, track over Chinatown taking in Roebuck Bay before heading to Windjana Gorge.

  • Fly over the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges & explore the breathtaking view of Windjana Gorge.

  • After a flight over Windjana Gorge land at Silent Grove, take a 1km hike into Bell Gorge where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and take in the spectacular pools at Bell Gorge.

  • Land at the Historic Mt Hart Station and enjoy a hearty station meal at the historic Mount Hart Station.

  • Learn about the historic station with a guided walk around the old buildings, and partake in a complete 4WD safari tour to Dolerite Gorge, home to the rare white rock wallabies and fresh water crocodiles.

  • Fly over the '8th Wonder of the World' and witness astonishing rapid tidal movements unique to this region at the Horizontal Waterfalls.

  • Marvel at the hundreds of islands that make up the Buccaneer Archipelago including Cockatoo Island and Koolan Island.

  • Land at Australia’s oldest family owned and operated pearl farm at Cygnet Bay and enjoy afternoon tea.

  • Return to Broome via the coast flying over Pender Bay, Beagle Bay, Carnot Bay, James Price Point, Willie Creek and Cable Beach.

*The Horizontal Falls is a natural tidal phenomenon. We unfortunately cannot guarantee the amount or level of water flowing through the falls at any given time. We will however vary our schedule and flight path to suit optimum tidal movement as best we can.

*The walk to the top of Bell Gorge is a short but very steep 1km walk. It is not recommended that the faint hearted participate as moderate level of fitness is required.
